Bringing a character to life exactly as you imagined, or finding the actor who surprises you entirely, is one of the best parts of the filmmaking process.
Every student project starts with a concept call with the director, writer, and producers about who these characters are and what the film needs. Breakdowns get built together with the whole creative team, then released to agents and managers, targeted to the hubs and the specific location you're shooting. We also put out a casting call on social media.
I go through every submission, then set up the first round of auditions as self-tapes and virtual pre-reads. From there, I narrow it to a curated list worth your time. Callbacks and chemistry reads run live on Zoom, fit around your shoot dates.
Once the right person's clear, I handle offers and negotiation, closing every role within budget, on your school’s schedule.
